I run marketing for a technology company selling software across the whole world.
I mentor other people doing that job and work with them on their marketing strategy.
If you’re building marketing at a tech company or a startup, that’s what I am good at.
Multiple years in B2B and B2G marketing management across multiple markets.
We go through your company: what you sell, who buys it, your current channels, budget, team and targets.
We look at everything you have running now, analyse how the market looks and what your competitors are doing.
We define the direction, including target segments, positioning, and which channels to focus on or drop.
We go through what got done, what the numbers show, and what needs adjusting.
For one problem you want a second opinion on this week
For companies that want the whole strategy loop run once, properly
For teams with the direction set that want a standing sounding board

“We needed someone to look at our offer sheet with fresh eyes. Michal helped us redesign it and the result is far easier for clients to read.”

“Michal helped us get our marketing strategy clear, and it did not stop there. Together we went through the website and the buying process and removed the places where we were losing customers for no reason.”

“I consulted Michal on using AI, signal watching and the overall direction of our marketing strategy. What I value most is his ability to look at marketing from a wider perspective while still giving concrete recommendations on what to automate, where AI genuinely makes sense and what is better left to people. He confirmed some of my assumptions and opened up an entirely new view on others. I came away with a lot of practical takeaways and a clearer idea of where to go next.”

“With several big events coming up, we needed an e-shop launched fast. Michal took on both the preparation and the launch campaign. We had it all done in a matter of weeks.”

“Michal is the person I call first whenever I’m working through marketing strategy or a major decision about growing the firm. We didn’t start with campaigns or advertising, but with the questions that matter most — where we want the firm to go long term, what brand we want to build, and which commercial strategy to choose.
He understood our business, our strengths and our limits very quickly, and proposed a marketing strategy that was realistic, effective and matched our budget. He doesn’t do marketing for its own sake; he always thinks about how each activity will bring concrete business results.
The first campaigns significantly exceeded our expectations. They brought new clients and signed contracts, and with some of them we’re already delivering a second project within the first year of working together. For me that’s the best confirmation the strategy works.”
Anything else, put it in the form. I answer personally, usually the same day.
Marketing leads, founders doing marketing themselves, and first-time heads of marketing at tech companies — usually between seed and Series B.
I advise and we decide together. Execution stays with your team — that’s what makes the strategy stick after we stop.
Onboarding to written strategy is typically four to six weeks. Reviews then run monthly for as long as they’re useful.
I don’t mentor direct competitors of my employer, and everything we discuss stays between us. Also, because of my day job my time is quite limited.
Czech or English, your call. Documents are written in whichever language your team works in.
Weekly at the start while we onboard and analyse, then every two weeks, then monthly once the direction is set and reviews are the main work.
Both. If you have agencies running channels, part of the work is deciding what they should own and how you brief and measure them.
Access to what you already have: current numbers, channel spend, the last plan you wrote, and whoever owns the budget. No new decks needed.
That’s where I’m strongest. Hardware, marketplaces and B2B services overlap enough that it usually still works, but I also have experience in multiple other industries.
Yes, and for strategy and review sessions I’d rather they did. Onboarding is usually just you.
Invoiced monthly with 14-day terms. Blocks are invoiced up front, unused hours don’t expire, and the retainer can be stopped with a month’s notice.
Decides what marketing should focus on and why: who you sell to, how you position against alternatives, which channels deserve budget and which don’t. Not campaign execution, but the thinking your team runs on.
Senior B2B advice runs roughly €120–320 an hour depending on seniority and scope. My rates are on this page: a single hour, a twelve-hour block, or a monthly retainer.
Start with one paid session on a real problem, not a proposal. A good one asks about your numbers and your buyers before pitching anything, says no to work that won’t help, and leaves decisions written down you can act on without them.
A consultant solves a defined problem and leaves. A fractional CMO owns the function part-time and manages the team. A mentor builds up the person doing the job. Most companies I work with need the third, sometimes the first. If you need the second, I’ll tell you.
Block and retainer clients can message me any time; I answer within a working day. Single sessions are the call plus the written summary.
Start with an introductory call. Tell me what’s going on and we can discuss the next steps.
I reply within one working day with two or three time slots.
